Abstract:
Work-life balance is a challenge for organizations and a significant concern among employees and
employers. For both men and women, work-life balance frustration is a matter which occurs due to the fact of not
having enough time and support to cover work responsibilities and personal ones. A healthy work-life balance
increases job satisfaction, reduces organization costs, and improves employee performance. The current study
seeks to provide sufficient evidence and models for the relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction
among executive employees at reputed pharmaceutical company. A total of 40 questionnaires were distributed
among the 40 executive employees at reputed pharmaceutical company. Results of the study show that time
balance, behavior balance, strain balance, and job satisfaction of employees are positively correlated. There is a
remarkable effect of work-life balance on employee job satisfaction.
