Abstract:
Work life balance has become one of major issues that many people around the world are
currently dealing with in today’s dynamic corporate environment. Maintaining work life
balance is a matter that is increasingly acknowledged as being significant to individuals and
of strategic importance to organizations.
Lack of work life balance also negatively impacts the chances of success for their employer
in numerous ways. The primary objective of this study is to identify the impact of work life
balance on employee performance at ABC PLC. Additionally, it is important to determine
whether the employee performance (EP) increases through enhancing proper work life
balance (WLB). The research’s intended audience consists of well experienced both
executive level and non-executive level workers at ABC PLC in network department.
This investigation area is used stratified sampling method considering whether the employees
are executive or non-executive (sample size: 60). Through the use of questionnaire, data were
collected. In this study, the data were analyzed through IBM SPSS software to find out the
relationship between variables. The findings of the study show that there is a strong
relationship among Work-centered WLB, Family-centered WLB and employee performance.
All these relationships are positive and have significant levels. The research findings prove
that better work life balance of the employees leads to increased employee performance.
