Abstract:
Training has become a thrill word in the growing business environment. Organizations are now
investing in effective and efficient trainings to develop the human resources and to develop the
organizations short and long term goals and objectives. Many businesses are struggling to sustain
and are intensive on increasing effectiveness at all organization level. As a result, the
organization is forced to build high in quality and highly productive workforce.
The study aims to analyze how training and development impacts on performance. The Impact of
Training and Development on Employee Performance at ABC Company (Pvt.) Ltd is explored in
this research. The Researcher choose to explain this research by three variables mainly on
Identifying the training needs, Implementation of training and development programmes and
Evaluating the training and development programmes.
To recommend effective training and development methods and to increase the performance of
the employees is considered as the general objective of this research whereas identifying the
performance gap, the shortcomings of the training and how to reduce and overcome the problems
are considered as the specific objectives.
This research is conducted using the Quantitative methods. As sample size fifty employees were
selected and the population consists of one hundred employees. A questionnaire was used as the
main method of gathering data for this research. The conclusion drawn from this research is that
training has an impact on employee performance.
