Abstract:
This study investigated the impact of company operational processes of absenteeism on
employee productivity. There for the aim of this study was to analyze existing to identify level of
factors affecting absenteeism, to identify impact of company operational processes of
absenteeism on employee productivity.
Structured questionnaire was used as the method of data collection and non-managerial
employees of Brandix Apparel Solutions (pvt)ltd. Simple random sampling method used to make
the sampling frame of the study. Quantitative research approach used for this study. The data
were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis.
The results indicated that the level of health and safety process, personal matters, working
condition process, employee relation process, physical working environment, facilities were high.
And also employee productivity has low level. Correlation analysis of this study, proved that
there is a statistically and strong negative relationship between health related events and
absenteeism, transport and absenteeism, and there is a statistically and strong positive relationship
between stress and absenteeism, family related problems and absenteeism. According to the
results of multiple regression analysis health related events, stress, transport, family related
problems impact on absenteeism. As per the results of the hypothesis testing, null hypothesis of
H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6 have been enough evidence to say that the reject null hypotheses and
alternative hypotheses are accepted.
