Abstract:
This Study investigates the impact of employees’ organizational commitment on relationship between
corporate social responsibility and perceived organizational performance of Bank Employees in Sri Lanka. The
325 samples were collected via a self – administered questionnaire. Descriptive and demographic data analysis,
validity and reliability analysis, Preliminary Statistical Analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation
model were used to analyze survey data through SPSS software and SPSS AMOS. Findings revealed that there
is a significant positive relationship between CSR and perceived organizational performance, CSR and employee
commitment and employees’ organizational commitment and perceived organizational performance. Also the
finding of the study has shown that employee organizational commitment influences the relationship between
CSR and perceived organizational performance as a mediator variable. This study important to the decision
makers of the bank should work to improve the policies of the bank and engage in the CSR initiatives, especially
in relation to employees of the bank in order to enhance organizational commitment.
