Abstract:
This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting external auditors' job stress at four popular
audit firms in the Colombo area. This study aims to identify the relationship between the job stress of external
auditors and the factor's relationship with job stress. In the present context, the term stress was a discussion topic,
and especially during the past years, it was addressed as a discussion phenomenon. Therefore, it was inevitable to
address the factors of job stress in organizational level, and this study was focused on addressing the factors
