Abstract:
Human resource Management is the most important function in every organization. Because
the performance of any organization depend on the human resources employed it. This study
mainly focusses on the impact on human resource planning on Employee performance in
apparel industry in central province. Apparel industry is most competitive industry in Sri
Lanka. Therefore, they need to understand their source of competitive advantages to survival
in this dynamic environment.
In this research mainly researcher tried to find out the impact of human resource planning on
Employee performance in apparel industry. The data for this research was collected from
worker level employees who work in apparel companies in Central province. The study sample
include 186 respondents. The data were gathered through the distribution of a standardized
questionnaire. Questionnaire design to identify the relationship between one dependent
variable, Employee performance and two independent variables - Resource Allocation for
Employee development and employee competence. The IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 was
used to analyze the data.
According to this research study main human resource planning variables are analyzed and
Resource Allocation for Employee development, and employee competence have a positive
and significant impact with Employee performance. Hence, this study provides new insights
to the management of apparel industry indicating how human resource planning impact on
Employee performance
