| dc.description.abstract | Service firms are an important part of the Sri Lankan economy. This company provides a wide range of industrial plumbing solutions. The goal of this study is to determine whether there is a significant association between absenteeism among workers at ABC Engineering in the Battaramulla area and how it impacts business performance. Aside from that, the problem reasons associated with these employees' absence are investigated. As a result, absenteeism is treated as an independent variable, whereas organizational performance is treated as a dependent variable. To quantify absenteeism, four major components were examined in this research. The study's population consisted of laborers employed by ABC Engineering Company. The sample size was 30 employees. To gather information from these personnel, a comparable scale questionnaire with five items was employed. To fulfill the aforementioned goals, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were employed for analysis. Throughout the study, a significant and strong positive correlation can be identified mainly between employee absenteeism and organizational performance. Matters were significant, mainly related to significant absenteeism | en_US |
