THE IMPACT OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT LISEN LANKA (PVT) LTD

Abstract

The Research Study focuses on the “Impact of Training and Development on employee performance at Lisen Lanka (pvt) ltd”. Training and Development is the vital function of the organization and it has direct impact on employee performance. Every organization primary resource is its workforce. For tasks to be completed successfully and efficiently, every business need workers who have received proper training. Employee performance improves by training and development. Employee performance is a key factor of organizational success. In the current era of globalization, graining is very essential for demanding the business. It contributes to improving employees’ quality of work life and growth of the company. Finding the substantial influence of training and development on workers' job performance was the primary goal when this study was started. Identifying training needs has a substantial impact on employee work performance, as the research also demonstrates. 44 Lissen Lanaka PVT Ltd personnel were included in the sample for the research. To choose the research sample, stratified random sampling procedures were employed. There was a hundred percent response rate. A uniform questionnaire was used to gather data. With the use of descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and correlation analysis, data analysis was carried out using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
