Abstract:
The work-life balance is considered a subject that scholars are highly interested in due to its
importance and influence on the overall organization and the employees. The purpose of this
study is to investigate how flexible work arrangements affect this work-life balance and how
flexible work arrangements can be used to improve the work-life balance, ensuring high
employee performance and job satisfaction. This study is conducted as a case study of ABC,
which is one of the strongest players in the Intimate apparel market in Sri Lanka. It is
conducted as a quantitative study to investigate the work-life balance of executive employees
and how it is affected by flexible work arrangements. The researcher used a self-administered
Likert scale questionnaire to gather data from the respondents and used the IBM SPSS
statistical software to analyse the data. The regression analyses were used to test the
hypotheses and identified a significant impact of flexible schedule options, management
support and remote work systems on the work-life balance, and the correlation analyses give
a positive, strong and significant relationship between these variables.
