dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of employee learning orientation and employee improvisation on employee creativity. The primary data for this study were collected from 255 employees from two selected apparel firms. Self-administrated questionnaires were used for the data collection and the collected data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. The findings highlighted that employee learning orientation, employee improvisation, and employee creativity are at high levels among the surveyed apparel firms. In addition, the findings discovered that there are positive and significant relationships exist between employee learning orientation and employee creativity as well as employee improvisation and employee creativity. Moreover, the regression analysis revealed that both employee learning orientation and employee improvisation significantly predict employee creativity. The results of this study have significant implications for managers who want to foster creativity in their employees by providing a thorough understanding of how learning orientation and improvisation can aid in unveiling employees’ creative potential as being a creative manufacturer in the industry can provide an exemplifying competitive advantage as well as the first mover advantage. en_US
