Abstract:
In contemporary workplaces, many employees are struggling to balance their personal lives with their
professional commitments. There are many reasons that affect the work-life balance of employees. Thus, the
purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of supervisor support on the work-life balance of workers in state
banks. The data is collected from 381 employees working in public banks in the Western province of Sri Lanka
through a questionnaire. Regression analysis was done to analyze the data using the SPSS software. Accordingly,
the research indicates that there is a positive impact of supervisor support on the work-life balance of employees
in the state bank. The study would enable employers, workers, and managers in the public banking sector to create
policies that aim to enhance supervisor support and improve work-life balance.
