Abstract:
This concept paper reviews “In Search of Concept of ‘Greening’ in the HRM” is a
novel concept for the Sri Lankan setting and certainly, there is a great potential to serve the
world. This paper is focused mainly on the subject and importance of Greening and another
important aspects of the meaning of Environmental Sustainability, Green Business, Green
HRM, Employee Green Behaviour, Green Man Power Planning, Green Recruitment, Green
Compensation Management, Green Performance Management, Green Training and
Development, Green Employee Relation, and Green Industrial Relation. This paper will add
some value to potential researchers to make their attention in terms of Green and to gain a
conceptual understanding of ‘Greening’ and conclusion of the paper will contribute new
knowledge to Green HRM.
