Abstract:
Human Resource Analytics (HRA) is an emerging field in modern management in Human Resource
and Analytics skills are considered as must-have capability among contemporary managers. The readiness of
technology among HR professionals is vital for implementing HR analytics. Adapting innovations can be a
multifaceted process, as it involves the actions of individuals whose behaviors can be influenced by others either
adopting or rejecting the innovation (Johnston, 2006).This research is aimed to examine the impact of Technology
Readiness on Acceptance in Human Resource Analytics among Human Resource Professionals in IT industry of
Sri Lanka. The Variables of Optimism, Innovativeness as Technology readiness determined factors refers to the
Technology Readiness Index (TRI). The primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire. The target
population was 200 HR professionals of selected IT Industry. The 132 HR Professionals were selected through
simple random sampling technique. This study is conducted as a cross-sectional study and deductive approach
where developing the hypothesis based on the Technology Readiness Index (TRI)and tested them. The findings
revealed that impact of Technology Readiness on Acceptance in Human Resource Analytics among Human
Resource Professionals in IT industry of Sri Lanka. The study showed that Technology readiness is mainly a
matter of deciding the level of Acceptance on HRA.
