dc.description.abstract This research examines at Pan Asia Bank, a major financial institution in Sri Lanka, to better understand how digitization has affected employee performance in the banking industry as a whole. To keep up with the times and provide better service to their customers, banks are increasingly turning to digitalization in today's fast-paced technology environment. The impact of Pan Asia Bank's digitization efforts on worker productivity is the focus of this research. The study uses a mixed-methods strategy, which means that it collects data using both quantitative and qualitative techniques. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and measurements of employee performance. The research looks at how Pan Asia Bank has adapted to the digital age by implementing things like internet banking, smartphone apps, and robotic process automation. Initial research results suggest that the duties and responsibilities of bank personnel have changed significantly as a result of digitization. As a result of mundane processes being automated, operational efficiency has grown, freeing up staff to focus on more valuable endeavors like client interaction, financial advice, and creative problem solving. Furthermore, personnel are now better equipped to serve clients with smooth and tailored services thanks to digital technologies. While the research shows the benefits of digital transformation, it also illustrates the difficulties that come with it, such as the necessity for constant upskilling of staff to stay up with technological changes. Both Pan Asia Bank and the whole banking sector may learn a lot from this study's conclusions. The full potential of digital technology can only be realized via purposeful digitalization programs that place a premium on staff training and development. To help businesses make it through this period of rapid change, the study sheds light on the shifting dynamics of employee performance in the digital banking market. In conclusion, the findings of this study provide light on the ways in which digitalization affects the productivity of bank workers, using Pan Asia Bank as an example. It explains the benefits and drawbacks of digital transformation and provides practical advice for businesses that want to use it to boost productivity and happiness in the workplace. en_US
