| dc.description.abstract | A selected Garment Factory located in Kuliyapitiya is a factory that provides great support to the economic industry of Sri Lanka. This industry is closely related to labour performance. This study focuses on how to increase employee retention in this Garment Factory and what factors affect the retention of sewing employees in the factory. The general objective of this research is to identify factors affecting employee retention and specific objectives are to determine the impact of rewards on retention, to identify the impact of work life balance on retention, and to identify the impact of organizational culture on retention. The population for this study consists of employees working in the garment factory. A sample of 200 employees was used. Data was collected from these employees using a structured questionnaire. Descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used to achieve the above objectives. The primary finding of the study is that there is a significant and positively strong correlation between those factors and employee retention. It was also revealed that improving these factors has a significant impact on employee retention. | en_US |
