dc.description.abstract The study has been conducted at ABC Holdings Limited which is an apparel manufacturing organization in Sri Lanka. The study was mainly aimed to achieve the primary objective of identification of the critical success factors that motivates MO level employees of ABC holdings, to achieve higher level of job performance to increase organizational performance. Rewards, leadership, training opportunities and job security, were identified as the independent variables for the impact of motivation on employees’ job performance. Quantitative research was conducted. The sample size was 50 employees among different categories of employees. The SPSS version 20 was used analysis for the data findings. At present employee turnover is a perpetual problem in any organization/industry. ABC Holdings, a national and an international level operating apparel manufacturing company that has been facing a similar problem in the last few years. At the moment management has no choice but to look at solutions to overcome this situation regarding the company turnover/turnover intentions of MO level employees and the impact of developed motivational factors on MO level employee retention and employee motivation. Through this research we can find out the best, various options of strategies and practices employers has chosen to motivate employees to increase the job performance. Without motivation, employees cannot perform their work to the expectation of the management. Success of organizations in achieving their desired goals depends highly on performance, readiness and efficiency of their employees when they are motivated. With respect to the results, it has been identified that all four variables including rewards, leadership, training opportunities and job security could be considered as the critical motivation factors for the MO level employees job performance at ABC Holdings and all four of them could make a positive and strong impact over the entire performance level of overall business through motivation. Finally, the study of this research is significant for shedding light on identifying and measuring the impact of motivational factors like rewards, leadership, training opportunities and job security on machine operator level employees job performance at ABC Holdings. en_US
