| dc.description.abstract | Job satisfaction has been proven to be one of the factors that keep employees loyal to their company. This research explores how training activities affect the job satisfaction of XYZ employees in Sri Lanka. The study was carried out through a sample of sixty employees with five independent variables as mentioned in chapter three. The study used the deductive approachand the quantitative data collection method. The data collected instrument was a questionnaire. In a competitive market, construction companies need to keep their workers satisfied in order to boost productivity and profits while achieving client’s targets and projects on time. It is also important to provide necessary training to construction and facility service workers in terms of new projects and company’s deliverables as part of the routine work in order to keep them motivated and retain them in the long run. The study evaluates training activities which impact on job satisfaction within XYZ organization. In analyzing the impact on the job satisfaction, the study uses quantitative approach, with primary data obtained through questionnaires responded by employees of XYZ company. Then the data was analyzed using statistical tools such as correlation and regression analysis. Additionally, the study identified independent variables as coaching culture, training methods, monitoring and evaluation, training need analysis and training period. | en_US |
