Abstract:
Treating the human resource of a company as the most valuable asset in considered as a competitive
advantage in the contemporary business environment. Although many organization provide training opportunity
for their employees, it is an issue how considerate the management is in addressing the exact training needs of
their workforce, which directly affect the Performance of the Employees.
Training is a process which able the employees to change their skills, knowledge, attitudes & behavior.
Organization capitalized on Training in order to increase their human capital skills & competences. Based on the
findings of scientists & HR Specialist, employee training is an important form of company investment that
generates additional value & increase a firm’s productivity. Training was employed as a tool for creating
competitive advantage for organization. This research objective is aim to investigate the relationship between
Training & development & Employee Performance in this organization.
As a dependent Variable researcher mention Employee performance & four independent variable are incorporated,
Training Design, Roles of Training, Training Policy & Evaluation of Training. The data was collected from
Process Operators. In this organization, there are two hundred & six process operators (206). As a sample size
researcher has taken from sample randomly sampling method. One hundred & thirty four (134) was used
employees from the Process Operators in Engineering Company. The study employs a quantitative approach and
it is used the software package for statistical analysis SPSS (Statistical Package for social Sciences) for testing
hypotheses, the finding revels that the relationship between Training Design, Roles of Training, Training Policy
& Evaluation of Training & Employee Performance is positive & significant. Quality Training was found to be
the highest contributor to Employee Performance.
