| dc.description.abstract | Based on the outcome of the pilot survey, researcher identified the Electricity Distribution company was suffering low Employee Retention since 2018 of the non-Executive level at the company. This issue is highly effect for the organization’s productivity. And, this has caused the time wastage for the company. And high cost of production is increased. General objective of this study is to survey the factors affecting Employee Retention to Electricity Distribution industry in Sri Lanka. Employee Retention was the Dependent Variable of this study. And there are four variables. Compensation, Communication, Working Environment and Work Life Balance are the independent variables. And four Hypothesis were developed to test this research. The mixed methodology was using in this study. A stratified sampling method was used and 103 of Nonexecutive level employees of Electricity Company was selected as a sample size. Pre-structured questionnaire was used to collect the primary data and through the research documents, company annual report and company web site secondary data were gathered. The outcome of the research is statistically proved that there is positive relationship between Employee Retention and other variables. But most impacted variable is Communication. Consider about this issue researcher highly recommend implement a better communication system. | en_US |
