dc.description.abstract This study was carried out at the selected apparel company in Anuradhapura mainly to identify the impact of work-life balance on employee absenteeism. And subsequently, determine the issues related to worklife balance, examine the most important factor that affects employee absenteeism and development of suitable recommendations to reduce the existing absenteeism level have been done at the end of the study. 175 participants have been selected by using the simple random sampling technique. Data was collected through via Questionnaires and in-depth Interviews and secondary data through absenteeism reports, LTO reports etc. Through IBM SPSS Statistics v24, reliability, correlation and regression tests were performed. All variables show there is a positive correlation between the Dependent Variable Employee Absenteeism and all Hypotheses. Mending and facilitating employees with pleasant and peaceful background with proper policies and procedures at work, keep monitoring distractions, providing them with fair incentives and salary, having a healthy relationship with supervisors are some of the recommendations. en_US
