dc.description.abstract This study which is undertaken by Ms. Chirathni Devindi Araththanage (CIPM) has been mainly focused on the impact of Training and development on Job performance of executive and above employees in Apparel Sector. Further this quantitative study has been designed to identify the how training cycle would impact executive and above employee job performance in apparel industry. Here the target population is executive and above staff in three leading apparel companies in Sri Lanka and data was collected from 320 respondents. Also, the report analyzes the effect of Training and Development and employee job performance in order to achieve the goals of the company and gain a successful company performance. The report starts with a strong overview which any person can examines the context of the review, understand the importance of the research problem, and presents the benefits of the topic. The research problem discussed here is, the impact of training and development on job performance of executive and above employees in apparel sector. The objective of conducting this study is to identify the impact of Training need identification, Training design, Training delivery and Training evaluation on Job performance. Four independent variables were identified after considering different literature reviews to enhance employee job performance of the industry. The conceptual framework has been developed with a critical analysis of employee job performance. Ultimately, the study reveals that the all the variables except one, have a significant impact on job performance of the employees. en_US
