dc.description.abstract In this economic hardship era, employees are facing severe economic obstacles, hence, securing their job stability has been more prominent. Organizational support is more pivotal than ever for this particular objective because this period, organizations are also trying to execute a retention strategy to secure current employment stability. With the objective of a supportive environment fostering engagement to satisfy the internal customers, the present study was taken to identify the impact of organizational support on the turnover intention with mediating effect of sales employee engagement referring focus on a leading insurance company in Sri Lanka. This quantitative study follows the descriptive survey research design, and a sample of non-executive sales employees was selected utilizing the convenience sampling method. The collected primary data was collected using selfadministered questionnaires and analyzed with aid of the SPSS statistical package. In order to test the constructive hypotheses, direct and indirect relationships and impacts were analyzed applying the test respectively linear regression (R2) and process SPSS. In the end, the study concluded that organizational support (Directly) and employee engagement (Indirectly Make an impact (Inverse relationship) on the employee turnover intention of the respective employee group. With that conclusion, the study recommends that organizations having higher sales level employee turnover intention should practice organizational support and engagement activities for the retention of them in the future. en_US
