dc.description.abstract The purpose of the current study was to identify the mediating effect of job motivation on the relationship between 360-degree performance appraisal system and employee job performance. This was a quantitative and cross-sectional study which was based on an organization in healthcare industry employees. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a convenient sampling technique. In the current study, sample size is 150 according to the Morgan table with a confidence interval of 95%. But the current study has taken 109 as the sample size. This study Correlation analysis and simple regression analysis were used to measure the relationship and to test the hypotheses of the study by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The analyzed results show that there is a significant positive impact on 360-degree performance appraisal system and employee performance with mediating impact of motivation. Furthermore, this study is a move for organizational management to make necessary actions to create a high-performance workforce within the organization. Moreover, this study was limited only to one particular company in the Healthcare industry located in Weston province Sri Lanka. Therefore, the current study suggested that to conduct the study by considering all organizations in the business world within Sri Lanka to get an effective output from future research. en_US
