dc.description.abstract Trade Unions are the legalized individuals having authority for collective bargaining with employers to safeguard the employees' labour rights. Right TV LTD is a government-owned company and was at the top among other TV channels during the middle of last decade and had a decreased rating after that, it was identified that the rating decreased owing to a lack of performance of the employees, and this directly affects the HighPerformance Work System of Right TV. This is highly noted in the Government Auditor General reports attached to the Annual Reports of Right TV LTD in the years 2019,2020 and 2021 that the management has taken ultra vires decisions relating to the appointments, promotions, and transfer of employees and this had taken place due to the unethical practices of the Trade Unions. The author conducted this research to identify the connectivity between the unethical trade union practices to the High-Performance Work System of Right TV. The selected Research Method was the Mixed Method more towards the Quantitative method. Collective Bargaining, Grievance Handling, Negotiation on Pay and Conditions, and Workers’ Voices were recognized as the independent variables, and the High-Performance Work System was recognized as the Independent Variable. The findings of the literature review had been used as the indicators for each variable in the questionnaire, and the data gathered from the questionnaire had been analyzed through the IBM SPSS Statistics Software according to the findings, the discussion was continued to find solutions to the Research Problem. When analyzing the data, significantly, the unethical practices of the Trade Unions can directly impact the High-Performance Work System. en_US
