Abstract:
This study aims to verify the effects of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) activity
recognition on job crafting and job performance. Data was collected from 168 employees from the ABC group of
companies using a survey questionnaire covering managers, executives, supervisors, factory employees, and
security-level employees. Environment, social, and governance factors were employed as independent variables,
with job crafting and job performance as the dependent variables. All data were analyzed using statistics software
which included statistical tests such as normality, reliability, ANOVA test, KMO test, Model summary analysis
using CMIN test, RMR (Root mean square model), GFI (Goodness of fit index) and comparative fit index.
According to the analysis, environmental and social factors positively affect job crafting and job performance.
The governance factor had a positive effect on job crafting, and when it came to job performance, there was an
insignificant positive effect. Hence, the result showed that the ESG activity recognition’s job crafting and
performance factor can consolidate organizational relationships. Hence, the study's practical implications can be
identified as environmental, social, and governance considerations integral to corporate success and reputation.
Companies should align their business practices with sustainable and responsible principles.
