satisfaction and work engagement. The study uses qualitative research
methods, specifically interviews, to learn about the present state of
work-life balance in Azerbaijan among women, as well as their vie wpoints on how work-life balance influences job satisfaction and work
engagement. The emphasis on Azerbaijani women attempts to highlight
the unique difficulties this group faces and explore potential solutions.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan's distinctive cultural and socioeconomic setting
makes it an intriguing case study for examining work-life balance issues.
Therefore, the theoretical information gained will be employed in this
study to acquire insights into the real condition of work-life balance
among women in Azerbaijan. The thesis is concluded with convincing
and enlightening findings concerning the novelty of the notion of work life balance for Azerbaijan and how not everyone views it as a major con tributor to job satisfaction, while considering its unquestionable influ ence on employees‘ engagement. Furthermore, it was also found that
participants mostly anticipated that their employers would promote
work-life balance rather than the government. Therefore, it was
highlighted that there is a need for policymakers and/or employers to
take steps to support and promote work-life balance by offering flexible working arrangements, parental leaves, childcare or eldercare as sistance. |
