| dc.description.abstract | This study focused on discovering the factors that Business Intelligence (BI) Impact on the Management Science of Telecommunication (MST) Projects Success in Sri Lanka to manage and make decisions at each level in the organization (Strategic, operational, and tactical) to effectively and efficiently process the projects during unexpected periods. What are the enabling and inhibiting factors of BI to the management science of telecommunication projects? What are the impact factors on the management science of telecommunication projects at the company? To what extent these identified factors are present in favour management science of telecommunication projects? The literature indicated a focus on past research studies about BI's impact on the management science of telecommunication project success to continue the effective and efficient business process. The sample and data for this study were focused on the population of the marketing department of the selected company. Data was gathered by providing 5 in-depth interviews and referring to project reports and documents. The nature of the interview questions was open-ended and categories those questions were under two categories such as BI focus questions and Project Management focus questions. The data analysis process focused on key words of each responder and the researcher discussed the findings based on that. The results identified an impact factor of BI in making scientific decisions based on telecom projects. | en_US |
