dc.description.abstract The Sri Lankan ceramic industry has a long history of manufacturing and distributing tiles all over the country, as well as exporting them to many foreign countries around the world. Accordingly, the industry holds an important place in the Sri Lankan economy. Unfortunately, the organizational performance of the industry has declined over the last five years. Accordingly, the leading companies within the industry have taken measures to overcome the above-mentioned issue and have implemented electronic human resource management practices (EHRMP) from a human resource management perspective. Therefore, this study aims to identify the impact of electronic human resource management practices on the organizational performance of the ceramic industry in Sri Lanka. This was conducted as a cross-sectional quantitative among a sample of 228 executives in the Sri Lankan ceramic industry. The sample was chosen by using a simple random sampling method, and the unit of analysis was individual level. Standard measurement scales, which used a five-point Likert scale, were used to collect primary data. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and simple regression were applied to analyze data using SPSS. The findings revealed a moderate positive relationship between electronic human resource practices and the organizational performance of the ceramic industry in Sri Lanka. Studying this concept would be beneficial to the top management and HR professionals in the industry, and the findings of this study will be helpful to reduce the dilemma of whether to invest or not in E HRM by looking at the impact generated on the entire organizational performance. en_US
