dc.description.abstract It is a common belief that an organization's people resources are a key component of its success. The fields of humanities, psychology, and sociology are where the word "job satisfaction" originated. The relative importance of employee job satisfaction has recently attracted the attention of organizational behavioralists. The input of the current employees in the firms was mostly taken into report in a previous empirical study to investigate the elements impacting on employee job satisfaction. The association between job satisfactions has been proven through the examination of factors like leadership, career development, financial benefits, and work-life balance. A key factor supporting the nation's economic prosperity is the tea exporting industry. The study tries to look at job satisfaction among factory workers at the well-known Sri Lankan tea exporting company ABE Teas (Private) Limited. Job satisfaction has been taken into consideration as the dependent variable, with factors including leadership, career development, financial benefits, and work-life balance taken into consideration as the key independent variables. A total of 65 respondents were selected using stratified sampling technique for the survey of 95 of population. Only 62 of the 65 respondents provided input after receiving a set of the self-developed structured questionnaire. The empirical results also showed that there is a significant positive relationship between employee satisfaction and variables on career development, work life balance and financial benefits and significant negative relationship for leadership. Based on the results findings the researcher has recommend establishing a framework for performance management and linking job objectives to organizational goals, improve the succession plan, training, and skill development programs, analyzing career development challenges as well as flexible working hour schedules, WLB programs, well established rewards & recognition programs. It is the responsibility of the company the suggestions and the establish effective strategies and policies that aim to increase job satisfaction and the performance of the factory employees. en_US
