| dc.description.abstract | This study mainly focuses on the relationship between job satisfaction and employee turnover intention in a Bank. The selected Bank was experiencing a continuous employee turnover for past many years. It was observed that the pay, recognition, growth, responsibilities, and relationship with the supervisor have been independently influenced on the job satisfaction and turnover intention of the administrative level employees in the Bank. The study started with the prevailing theories in human resource management, based on which hypotheses were developed. The case study method used along with quantitative techniques for analysis. The study conducted with a sample of 40 respondents who are working in the administrative level in the Bank. A five-point Likert Scale questionnaire used to collect primary data from the study respondents including 42 close ended questions covering the conceptual framework. The collected data were analyzed by using IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The overall result of the study concluded that the job satisfaction is significantly arbitrated with the turnover intention. Accordingly, recommendations were proposed to lower the turnover of employees in the Bank. | en_US |
