Abstract:
This study investigates how Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices affect operational
performance at Sri Lankan star-rated hotels. Main objective of this study is to measure the impact of Green Supply
Chain Management Practices on Star Hotel's Operational Performance in Sri Lanka. The study applied a
quantitative research approach while using structured questionnaires to sample 118 hotels under stratified random
sampling. The authors performed statistical analysis in SPSS which included descriptive and inferential methods
with multiple linear regression for establishing GSCM practices and operational outcomes connections.
Sustainable management practices within the hospitality industry enhance operational performance which at the
same time increase sustainable outcomes and minimize costs and improves guest satisfaction. A broader
geographical expansion of research is recommended to include additional contexts beyond Sri Lanka’s hotel
sector
