dc.description.abstract Management trainees (MT’s) lack skills in self-preparation as they often come to the organization unprepared, mainly due to a shortage of self-directed learning and not being able to realize its adverse impacts on their personal careers during the probation period. Hence, it was undertaken to study how management trainees’ skills in self-preparation can be developed. Once developed, they will be absorbed as permanent carders for different departments. This will contribute to improving the organization’s business performance and both their personal and professional life. Hence the role of training and development managers (TDM’s) are responsible to improve the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for not only new recruitments but also existing employees. en_US
