Abstract:
HR (Human Resources) are the key assets in the organization. In this era of highly competitive
environment, HR practitioners have been constantly paving the way towards earning & retaining loyal
employees by bestowing plethora of benefits and quality work life to retain them in the organization. As
retention of employees has become a major challenge for the HR practitioner. The objective of this paper is to
explore the best HRM Practices and investigate its relationship with employee retention based on review of
literature, various reputed magazines & weblinks. The outcome of the following research clearly indicates best
HRM practices plays an imperative role in employee retainment in today‘s competitive global market. The study
also found that excellent HRM practices not only influence employee‘s retention but moreover leads to
increased productivity.
