| dc.description.abstract | The unexpected outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic enormously affected every industry globally, which has paved the way for panic and stress among industries and businesses due to the shutdown of the economy. It is a fact that the sectors with labour-intensive work such as manufacturing units are severely hit in the present situation due to the highly transmissible nature of the virus. Samson Rubber Industry (Pvt) Ltd (DSI Tyres) also felt the gravity of the pandemic situation on 20th March 2020, where we had to shut down all the plants due to the country lockdown. The Management immediately appointed Covid 19 prevention committee and gave the authority to develop a proper plan to execute production controlling Covid 19 impact inside the company. The primary purpose of this study is to present the effectiveness of the practices proposed by the committee while highlighting the effects of the methods on the bottom line of the business. | en_US |
