dc.description.abstract Remote work systems have been introduced to the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 pandemic was a major destruction threatening to peoples’ lives and business activities in all over the world. Hybrid work model was the option that popped up to continue work life of employees which combined both onsite and online working arrangements. The telecom industries have encountered obstacles and prompted firms to use remote working methods. The main objective of this study was to identify the impact of the hybrid work model on employee performance within telecommunication companies in the Colombo district. For this research study, Employers of Dialog and Sri Lanka Telecom completed a standardized questionnaire that was used to gather data using a quantitative research technique. To interpret the findings, descriptive statistics, regression analysis, correlation analysis, and validity and reliability tests were used. The results showed that all three factors communication, organizational culture, and technology considerably improve worker performance, with organizational culture being the most important component, followed by technology and communication. The study comes to the conclusion that to maximize employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall performance, an effective hybrid work model necessitates the simultaneous enhancement of these dimensions. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of employee well-being, elucidating how various aspects of the work environment contribute to overall satisfaction and fulfillment. The study suggested future researcher to be conducted utilize multi-source data collection methods, incorporate qualitative approaches. This study offers practical applications for HR Professional in telecommunication companies trying to successfully navigate the changing landscape of work environments, as well as theoretical frameworks of hybrid work models. en_US
