dc.description.abstract Leadership is essential for the adequate performance of the employees in an organization. Under the support of the leaders, the employees feel motivated to carry out the task. Nowadays, organizations are operating in highly competitive environment. The organizational success depends on its leadership styles and effectiveness of its employees. The effectiveness of individual employee’ performance depends on the leader. Effective leader can enhance the individual employee performance through proper leadership style and retain high performance and talent employees within the company because he knows that high performance employees are unique resources of the organization. Based on the culture and nature of organization, leaders are applied suitable leadership styles. The behavior of leader is very importance to improve job performance. According to the problems or situations they face, leader needs to apply proper leadership styles. This research identifies the impact of autocratic, democratic, laissez – faire and charismatic leadership style on employee performance of the selected Company. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of leadership and the different leadership styles related to the employee's performance specific to the Selected Company. In this study, two main variables consist in conceptual framework. They are independent variables (autocratic leadership style, democratic leadership style, laissez -faire leadership style and charismatic leadership style) and dependent variable (employee performance). A sample size of eighty-two (82) respondents was used, and a Likert scale from 1 to 5 was used to collect data. A structured questionnaire was designed, pre-tested, and used to collect data from the selected sample, while secondary data was collected through reliable websites, company reports, journals, and articles. Data analysis was conducted by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) by using the statistical technique such as Cronbach alpha, mean, mode, correlation and regression analysis.
