| dc.description.abstract | Humankind survives and flourishes after every epidemic and natural disaster. Life finds a way to protect itself. Furthermore, our adaptability and capability to find a cure for survival make us superior to other life forms. The optimism in world leaders' voice is beyond doubt, a necessity to reduce the pain sensed by the population. The phase of COVID-19 will pass, and humankind will survive. However, at a suitable stage, we need to evaluate the leadership quality whether he/she is a saviour or a failure. The unimaginable damage awaits us in the coming months in the form of loss of human lives, loss of earning capacities and bankrupt industries. It is necessary to evaluate the steps taken during the crises and learn from them. It requires a review with definite criteria and standard format supported by empirical evidence to assess a leader.
