dc.description.abstract Competition and lack of available highly talented and skilled employees make finding and retaining talented people a major priority for organizations. In this highly competitive and demanding business environment, Human Resources departments are starting to move away from only focusing on recruitment and development to a more strategic position that unites the management of human capital with organizational goals. The purpose of the paper is to explore “Talent Management” strategies and practices, giving a thorough overview of the effective steps used in implementing talent management and the role of the HR in this. Consequently, a survey questionnaire is used to assess respondents’ attitudes to and knowledge of the topic. Results and findings are used to draft recommendations to Lebanese HR managers to capitalize on best practices in Talent Management and challenges faced. en_US
