dc.description.abstract Talent management is a major global challenge confronting most organizations in the world. Due to scarcity of talent, organizations around the world are competing for the same pool of talents to acquire and retain talents in order to maintain their operations and continue to grow in terms of service and profitability. Aim: to investigate the effect of talent management on organization performance at Shebin El-Kom hospitals. Subjects and methods: A descriptive correlational research design was conducted in two selected hospitals, Menoufia University and Shebin El-Kom Teaching hospitals. Two standardized questionnaires were used, which are, Talent Management and Organization Performance questionnaires. Random sample (273) of nurses composed the study sample. Results: The present study' findings revealed that nurses in Menoufia University hospital had a higher satisfaction level than nurses in Shebin El-Kom teaching hospital regarding total score of talent attraction, retention and organization performance with highly statistical significant difference. Conclusion: There was a highly significant positive correlation between organization performance and each of the three components of talent management. Recommendations: All health care organizations should introduce talent management strategy in their strategic planning to remain competitive in today’s healthcare market en_US
