Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is a key strategy for sustainable business operations. This&#13;
systematic review evaluates its impact on firm performance across economic, environmental, social, and&#13;
operational dimensions. The findings indicate GSCM enhances cost efficiency, resource optimization, and &#13;
regulatory compliance. The study also identifies key moderating factors such as organizational capabilities, firm &#13;
size, and supply chain integration that influence the effectiveness of GSCM practices. The review underscores the &#13;
necessity for businesses to adopt a holistic and adaptive approach to GSCM, integrating sustainability objectives &#13;
with financial and operational performance.

The aim of this paper is to identify the talent retention strategies followed by the apparel-manufacturing &#13;
firms in Sri Lanka, specifically operational-level employees. High turnover rates within this segment inflict heavy &#13;
challenges on the industry due to heavy reliance on female labour and constantly rising costs associated with &#13;
workforce management. The research approach adopted for this study is a qualitative approach. Six managerial level employees at MAS Holdings are interviewed using semi-structured interviews to derive an understanding of &#13;
the present retention strategies and their effectiveness. Thematic analysis disclosed four significant factors that &#13;
affect employee retention: financial incentives, career development, work-life balance, and organizational culture. &#13;
In this context, while financial incentives seemed important to tackle short-term retention, factors such as lack of &#13;
career development opportunities and difficulties in managing work and family commitments, especially on the &#13;
part of females, have been some of the reasons for the high flow of workers. The study also indicates that ensuring &#13;
a positive organizational culture and engagement of employees guarantees loyalty in the long term. The &#13;
recommendations go on to include areas of career development programs, offering flexible working arrangements &#13;
to support work-life balance, and creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture that will help in improving &#13;
retention. These findings provide valuable inputs for Sri Lanka's apparel sector and useful in designing more &#13;
effective retention strategies that can reduce turnover, thereby enhancing workforce stability

The Case Study at Omega Line Ltd Vavuniya Apparel aimed to understand the collaborative efforts of &#13;
key departments—Human Resources (HR), Production, Information System and Finance—in achieving &#13;
organizational goals. HR's pivotal role in facilitating communication, coordination, and decision-making across &#13;
these departments was particularly emphasized, showcasing HRM contribution to enhancing overall &#13;
performance. The primary data were collected using the semi structured questionnaire, observation and focus &#13;
group discussion guidelines. The secondary data were collected via refereeing website of omega line and their &#13;
publications. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analytical techniques. The study showcased a &#13;
well-integrated, efficient, and innovative organization that thrives on cross-functional collaboration, operational &#13;
excellence, and employee engagement. HR plays a central role in fostering interdepartmental alignment, &#13;
workforce development, and compliance, contributing significantly to the company’s overall success. The study&#13;

Digitalization has profoundly impacted various industries, including tourism, by creating new &#13;
opportunities for entrepreneurs to enhance competitiveness. To capitalize on these opportunities, tourism &#13;
entrepreneurs should implement significant organizational changes. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to &#13;
explore the organizational changes required for adapting to the digital transformation of entrepreneurs in tourism &#13;
industry in Sri Lanka. Employing a qualitative research methodology under the interpretivist paradigm, the study &#13;
utilizes the phenomenological approach to gain deep insights into the experiences of tourism entrepreneurs. &#13;
Twelve entrepreneurs from the tourism sector were purposively selected and interviewed. Data was analyzed &#13;
using thematic analysis with the assistance of NVivo software. As per the findings three key themes had emerged: &#13;
transforming the way of working and thinking, skills development and workforce adaptation and operational &#13;
changes and automation. Therefore, entrepreneurs have to foster agile approaches within their organizations based &#13;
on real-time data in adopting digitalization together with swift changes in human resources and operational &#13;
efficiency. The study concludes that technological adoption in digitalization should be accompanied by cultural &#13;
and operational transformations to build resilience and sustain competitiveness in the evolving tourism landscape.
